vounteer-awards

Netball Mainland would like to extend a big 'CONGRATULATIONS' to Danielle Eckersley (Hokitika Netball Centre) and Rachel Stead (Christchurch Netball Centre) for winning the Administrator and Coach of the year category's (respectively) in this year's New World Netball Volunteer Awards. These awards are part of New Worlds National volunteer recognition programme, so Rachel and Danielle have been chosen from across the country!

Both ladies (each with a friend) will be flown to Auckland to watch the Silver Ferns play the Australia Diamonds in the Constellation Cup test match on Thursday 19th September, and will also have a night's accommodation provided by New World. Netball Mainland is very proud of these very worthy recipients.

Netball Mainland would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge all other nominees who were put forward for these awards; all of whom are very hard working in their own Centres, and who are 'winners' in their own right. We would also like to acknowledge the time and effort of those centres that completed the relevant documentation, to recognise their hard-working volunteers.
